The topics of this lecture are the philosophical concept of justice in post-conflict societies, how to achieve justice in the aftermath of atrocities, justice as a socially defined concept, and the distinction between individual and collective guilt and responsibility.

The goal of this lecture is to present a definition and historical foundation for transitional justice, and its main objectives and the mechanisms to achieve these goals, through the presentation of examples of countries with successful and unsuccessful experiences in dealing with the burden of massive human rights violations in the past.

The goal of this lecture is to present the facts established at the ICTY about war crimes committed during armed conflict in Kosovo 1998/1999. The topics which are the focus of these lectures are the mass killings and deportation of Kosovo Albanians by Serbian forces, joint criminal enterprise and KLA camps.

The goal of this lecture is to introduce non-judicial mechanisms for the establishment of facts, such as truth commissions, their historical development, their main features (investigative function, focus on victims, victims hearings), as well as examples of successful and unsuccessful truth commissions in post-conflict societies.
Establishing facts: Truth-seeking mechanisms in former Yugoslavia
The topic of this lecture is to introduce and analyze previous attempts at truth-seeking mechanisms in former Yugoslavia – the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Investigative Commission for events in Srebrenica between the 10th and 19th of July 1999.
Archives on human rights and collective memory
The topic of this lecture is the role of archives for human rights in preserving the collective memory in post-conflict societies, as well as examples of countries with successful and unsuccessful practices in the opening of archives which offer evidence of massive human rights violations from the past.
RECOM Initiative –Reconciliation after a violent conflict?
The topic of this lecture is the initiative for the establishment of RECOM (the Regional Commission for establishing the facts about the war crimes and other serious violations of human rights in the former Yugoslavia in the period 1991-2001), which will lead to the establishment of official and objective recording of war crimes and other serious breaches of human rights, and recognize victims and their suffering.

The goal of this lecture is to present the political manipulation and creation of the myth about Jasenovac, and the use of the symbol of Jasenovac as a political tool, as well as the manipulation of the number of people killed in this concentration camp during the Second World War.
Culture of Memory – the role of art in the process of post-traumatic healing
The goal of this lecture is to present the power of an art – poetry – in overcoming traumatic events from the past, through an analysis of poems on crimes and genocide. It poses the question whether it is possible to strengthen the process of reconciliation using unorthodox methods, such as poetry or other art work.
The role of the media in the process of reconciliation
The goal of this lecture is to explain the role of the media in the creation of vicious propaganda during the armed conflicts, contributing to heightening of stereotypes and the political manipulation of citizens during the wars, and thereby to the intensification of the conflict. The lecture also highlights the role of the media in a post-conflict setting, explaining their role in the process of reconciliation.
